Puzzle Fundraiser
October 13th – 31st, 2020 – Finalization
As of July 30th we are home study approved. We will begin presenting our case to families considering adoption. We are so excited to begin our puzzle fundraiser. We will have a blank puzzle with the pieces numbered 1-117. The number on the puzzle piece equals the amount of money donated. This fundraiser will be one of our biggest fundraisers and we ask that you prayerfully consider “adopting” a puzzle piece. Once you have chosen a puzzle piece you are able to personalize your piece to be displayed in the child’s room so they always know how it took a community to bring them into our lives.
What Happens in the Wait
We didn’t write many updates, or tell stories during those months of unknown. Our days were full of going to work, going to church, hanging out with friends, seeing family, building my doula business, working as missionaries at our apartment complex, filling out paperwork, and wondering.
Gobena Coffee Fundraiser
Ongoing fundraiser
Our coffee fundraiser is ongoing and helps us with the costs of the adoption process both big and small. Gobena is an amazing organization that focuses on orphan care. Each month we receive a check for 50% of all the coffee that has been sold through our page. This has been such a big help to us as we continue this process. Instead of getting your local grocery store coffee each month purchase through our website and help us as we pursue domestic adoption. Orders over $50 get free shipping. Facebook Silent Auction
Winter 2020 – Finalization (tentatively)
We will be holding a Facebook Live Auction over a weekend hopefully in October. We are looking for artists, photographers, wood workers, coaches, sales reps, ect. to donate their services to be auctioned off. We are hoping to have most of our goods donated so that each purchase is a donation to our adoption. If you would like to be included in the auction please send us an email and we will make sure to invite you when the time comes!
